Dryad's Saddle

This mushroom is called Dryad's Saddle also known as pheasant's back. Apparently they make good eating, although we didn't try this one. We went on a walk in Culbin woods starting off from the Nairn side which we haven't done before. The woodland was mixed which wasa change from our usual walks in the pine plantation. We circled back along the sand, enjoying the view across to Cromarty and finding puddles to splash stones into with the wee one.
