Jellyfish

Today the weather was at least dry, if not a bit chilly to start with. We went to Lahinch to explore the town (well, I explored it; L knows it well already), and then on, to clamber over huge rocks round the bay in search of sea stacks. Unfortunately we didn't get that far as the tide was coming in by the time we'd managed to untangle a few yards of fishing rope that had wound itself  tightly round some of the rocks. I'm delighted as I make pots out of old rope so am always on the lookout for it.
We did find this rather lovely jellyfish though, which made up for not seeing the sea stacks. Altogether a very interesting day, with lots of people watching - always a fascinating pastime, and ending with delicious fish and chips.
