Coal Creek

W. and I enjoyed our typical early (!) walk to Starbucks on our first morning of vacation, while our internal clocks are three hours ahead of the general household. Came back a couple hours later and no one had had breakfast yet. 

And now I'm really pushing the clock at the other end...being greedy with time!

This is looking dowwwwn from a bridge over Coal Creek, near my mom's house. Love the big big ferns and the tall alders (?) and evergreens. It got hot today but nothing like the weekend will be in Bellevue...which is why we're (very luckily) escaping to the coast tomorrow morning.
