Long

Up and out very early to travel across to Greenock for a Board away day. Nice to see everyone in real life again and a lot to talk about, particularly around EDI issues and casting decisions, cultural appropriateness and appropriation etc. The day passed quickly, especially with the amazing backdrop to the room we were in (extra).
On the way home I had time between trains in Glasgow (first time I’d seen the revamped Queen St station) to get some birthday cards and then on the train I had a chat to A who’s bemused about N at the moment, but a bad signal meant it was difficult to talk properly. Having spent a generally bright and even sunny day out west it was disappointing to arrive back in the ‘burgh to a heavy haar….hope the weekend’s better!
Home eventually and just slumped a bit….tired
