True Legend

Like last year, Aron organised "The 50's Midsummer Festival" at Haikan lava, Pirkkala. One of the artists (in addition to Aron and his backing band Cool Company) was the legendary Finnish tango singer Eino Grön, aged 82 and a real 50's star. Still a fine voice. Here's a sample from his concert tour two years ago.

I wasn't a regular visitor this time. Aron invited me to photograph people in the beautiful lake landscape, so I took my location portrait gear along and improvised a payment and delivery method for the paying customers. I also took a few photos of the Miss 50's contest winners (winner Bella Gazzella in front of Aron's Cadillac in the extra #1) and the artists (Aron in the extra #2).

The weather was good, sun peeking through mostly thin clouds and +22°C, though high moisture made it feel hotter. A shower passed by very close at the beginning of the event.

At home the day was much more relaxed than the week before. Finished the repairs of the feeding trailer that Dad had been working on before, and filled it with fresh grass. It was most welcome on the pasture.
