Angle Shades Moth

I disturbed this lovely Angle Shades Moth while I was cutting the grass today.  It was considerate enough to let me take its picture before I helped it to hide away in a dark spot to await nightfall.

Today was hot and sunny day and we spent the entire day in the garden as the recent rain has made everything grow rapidly.
