Day 462 - Lock Coruisk, Elgol and Neist Point

Friday on Skye ...... (back blipping still)

We got up early and were for 9:30 at the bakery to get some lunch breads (and cake) before heading towards Elgol.
We were there at 10:30 and I picked up our tickets for the boat trip to Loch Coruisk with The Misty Isle.
The weather was splendid and it was even warm(-ish).

It was a lovely crossing and we had a good hour to explore Loch Coruisk.
Neil had his drone and I enjoyed the lovely sunshin and a blether with a lovley old man who travels here every year and visits the place where he got engaged with his late wife in the 1970ies ...

Back on the boat I had a great chat with James, a retired dentist who was on the road with his (very cool) camper van and loads of gear (including cameras and surf boards)
Neil found a drone enthusiast in Dale and had also an engaging conversation.

Back in Elgol we had coffee and seafood salad (me) on the pier in the sun before we headed out again.

We stopped on the hill as Johns Highland Cows were standing very decorative in the sun and met our friends again who got stopped by the same beautiful sight.

We finally got away and had a quick stop at Cille Criosd before heading towards Broadford and then Dunvegan.
The weather was wonderful and we enjoyed amazing views of the Cullins.

Next stop was Neist Point - but is was quite hazy there.
Neil flew his drone and I enjoyed the sights.

We had an amazing dinner at The Dunvegan and Neil was driving me home

It was nice to have a break from driving.

Blipping the photos that are finished so far.

Cheesy they look with the blue skies  -... hahaha!
