Joys of gardening

One of the joys of gardening is that each day at this time of year reveals something new.

Today it is the first lily of the season. M bought some gadget from a catalogue which is supposed to kill weeds by giving them a shot of electricity . Unfortunately the current is so weak it take ages to kill one weed.

Saga of Frankie the Fox. Last night we gave her some fish left over from supper along with dog food. She took fright and ran away. Reckon it was the garlic.
