Cycling on the towpath

This afternoon I went for a walk along the canal near my house.  It was grey and miserable when I set out but it got hotter and hotter as the walk progressed.

There were a number of hire boats on the canal.  It made quite a change to see people waiting to use the locks as for the last few months it's been very quiet due to covid restrictions.  Apart from these cyclists there was no-one else walking on the towpath so it was busier on the water.
