it is true - hit 100 today - sleeping not so easy for so many up here --me okay, as we are in the lucky privileged category with AC - i mean me i guess.  still cannot really accept this - house, car, AC etc - not ours, mine?   really????

anyway, i have one of a man sleeping on sidewalk in shade but i could not show one of anyone so vulnerable.  even though it definitely spoke to the heat.  it is hard - how great images are hard to show unless you are a journalist maybe - am babbling --

i did jump in the lake this afternoon - i never do - it is not as clean as i think it should be - plus i hate being cold - no chance of that today.  I rode bike downtown to library - you could go into three floors today - wow - so folks could get out of the heat- yeah city finally - but so red in the face on way home decided i had better just jump in - so i did.  more bigger heat coming.  

our weather guru speaks to the Cascade Mts to our east holding sweeping heat to us, and then something happening in Asia that is holding the marine cooling back - who knows.
