Perfect day

Took myself off for an early walk after an even earlier cuppa listening to the birds getting up.
These grasses were growing about 6ft tall through a field of oats.
Extras of the oats and some of the wildflowers grown from seed in my garden - foxgloves, teasel and tufted vetch. 
Birds to add to this year's list - yellow wagtails, common scoter, Egyptian geese and garden warbler.
