Broad Beans

Look at these little beauties all plump & encased in a warm fluffy blanket & outer case.
As I left my friend on Friday she asked if we liked Broad Beans & of course I said yes so she thrust a bag of homegrown beans at me.
Today I opened them & they look so cosy & warm inside.
They were very tasty.
My daughter's boyfriend was unsure of them, not sure he's seen them before let alone eaten them, but he did eat them. :)
