Alert!

These two bucks are part of a group of five roe deer, and frequent visitors to field beside my house. They are a real nuisance in the garden, but despite that I am always pleased to see them.

Most of the time their heads are down, eating. All it takes is the slightest noise to alert them. In this case I think it was the postman in the road, and shortly afterwards they ran a short way off.
