Chicory flowers to save the day?

Another session in the community garden trying to resurrect the wildflower areas. We had decided maybe to strim the small wildflower areas which have become over grown with grass and start again, but overnight (maybe the flowers got wind of our plans and decided to put on a bit of a show) these chicory flowers opened and are looking lovely towering over a metre high - far too lovely to strim down. I will need to plead their case at the next church meeting.
