Hawkley

We had a walk around Hawkley this morning having looked at the weather forecast when it said that there would be showers this afternoon. We got it right and didn’t get wet!!

The first photo is over the fields where the long grass has been flattened by the weather and it looked a bit like the sea. The house martins were dipping and diving over the grass.

The second photo is in Hawkley where a wild flower meadow had been planted by one of the ponds. A lovely idea and it was being visited by bees and hoverflies.
