Salsify.

This was my intended shot from the other day when the sunglasses grabbed my attention.  It's what is left of a salsify seed head that has lost a few of its composite parts.  Today's flat light was fine once it stopped drizzling as I had to take it outside to get maximum light and no shadows.  It is not perfect but is heading in the direction I want it to go.  May try a focus stack which I have never attempted before.  Have another seed head to play with.
