Home Again

After a long day's travelling we are now back at home, after 5 days away. We were staying with old friends but it is the first time we have visited them in Dalarna, at their home.  It was a great trip and Dalarna, and especially the bit they live in near Rättvik, is the home of the traditional Midsummer.  I shall be back blipping the previous days' pictures, where Midsummer will probably feature.
But today we said goodbye after a long brunch eaten sitting out in the sun. We planned a new route home and there was one awkward 50 km section in the middle, an area with no major roads, and lots of little roads.  The blip is taken on the road that turned out to be smaller than we imagined! Jan drove most of the trip on the small roads and the motorway, She was driving and I was navigating here and we had a discussion about my navigating skills as we bounced along on the gravel. Fortunately, after about 15 km the road suddenly became wide and asphalted.
Even the best packed camper van rattles a bit when bumping along this road.
