Glasgow Royal Infirmary

Thanks to Rhea stepping us through it, Martin got to see his Dad in hospital today. Only one ‘registered’ visitor per patient is allowed so we had to get a special dispensation. I explained to the nurse on the phone in the morning that Martin hadn’t seen his Dad for 2 years and the message received was that he’d not seen him for 10! (No connivance I promise - the English accent was to blame).

Anyway importantly they got to see each other and tests are still underway for Ian, so no discharge date yet confirmed.

Jess and I wandered the streets of Glasgow in the meantime. This wonderful mural was nearby.
