Day Lilies ...

... on our street, just down from our house, at 6:15 this afternoon. Another warm summery day in the 90s, with humidity perhaps a shade higher. 

At Euro 2020, we watched a truly nail-biting  match between France and Switzerland. After 30 extra minutes it was still 3-3, and in "the shock of Euro 2020" Switzerland won after five rounds of penalty kicks when Kylian Mbappe of France failed on the last one.  Thus Switzerland advances to the round of eight, and France is eliminated.
