Power Cut

Yesterday did not go according to plan. I was sitting at my home/office desk, getting stuck in a list of jobs I had to complete that morning, when out of the blue we had a power cut.....

I stupidly walked into the kitchen and over to the electric kettle and was a bit duped when nothing happened (doh!). Not to worry, hubby pulled out our camping gas cooker and voila, hot drinks were able to be consumed. 
Not much else happened, I went for a stroll around Fowlmere nature reserve to get my daily dose of greenery.

I also watch loads of good football on tv in the evening. I did feel very sorry for Kylian Mbappé, who missed his penalty, which means France are now out of the competition.
