Hovering

A quick bliptrip around the garden didn't seem to produce anything. Most insects do seem to have deserted. I am intrigued as to where the shield bugs went to. This hoverfly was my only real subject. 

I was privileged to be able to attend a village event to dedicate a bench in memory of one of our First Responders who died suddenly at the end of 2019. This event has been postponed a few times but they decided to go ahead today despite the restriction of 30 gathering.
