Met my friend Alyson today, we usually meet every few months but for obvious reasons it’s been a while…
We met at The Danish Camp at Willington and went for a walk before catching up over lunch.
A good brisk walk, for an hour, so steps are off the chart today!
The "loop walk" takes in the old Varsity railway line that went through Willington and closed in 1968, this building was more than likely along the track, maybe part of the station buildings, all long since gone.
