but how many roads give views of Red tailed Kites and White tailed sea Eagles? Pulled off to watch gulls mobbing the Eagle near Tomatin, where they nest. Got a shot but from a long way off. Main shot is getting a breather from the traffic after the dreaded shopping trip. Stepped out of the car to see a Hen Harrier quartering and listened to Curlew and Sandpipers, then back to the road.
Later up at the local puddle, lochan, found this Large Red Damselfly attempting to eat a Cranefly it has just caught but which was the same size as itself, so more than a mouthful,
