Chrispy 1 Squirrels 0

A hasty Blip tonight as I have been playing Bowls today so limited opportunities for some decent images.

To try and prevent the squirrels getting to the bird seed and fat balls I came up with this configuration. It is a funnel used for pouring fuel into a tank. I thought the shape might just cause problems for the squirrel gang. 

So far the squirrels have fallen off trying to ascend the pole. Long may it continue but they are a clever bunch and I can already see they are trying to find a way round the obstacle.

Watch this space to find out if the Squirrel deterrent lasts for a second day.
