Caught

We've recently separated our bird feeders so the smaller birds don't get harassed by the starlings, pigeons and other bigger birds. We've hung a single feeder close to the house and filled it with sunflower hearts. It has been working with a range of smaller birds including lovely goldfinches. In the past few days however, we'd found the feeder on the ground on a number of occasions. Yesterday I (Chris) saw the culprit, a squirrel had found a way (climbing up the wall mounted washing line) to get to the feeder. The same squirrel was back today, this innocent pose was simply a moment of contemplation before making another dash for the seeds!
