Nature’s patterns, colours and moods

Visited Cambridge Botanic Garden today with my friend whose lovely garden I often Blip.The weather could have been better (could also have been a lot worse!) but the even light is often nicer than bright sun and shadows for flower photos. Well, we saw about one third of the garden - we have vowed to return later in the year and see some more. These are just three images of the 60 I took - difficult to choose, so I went for one with an interesting shape, one with vivid colour and one  promoting calm and meditation. We had lunch in the garden and visited a yummy cake shop on the way back to the station !  A beautiful day out despite the on/off drizzly weather.
