Let there be cake

Having visited three local garden centres looking for the the right combination of bird feeders and stands to replace our old and rather disgusting looking ones, we ended back where we started, at the nearest (and nicest). Of course we also had coffee.
 The visit could not have been timed better. Very occasionally their cake selection includes my favourite, Rum Baba. Today, for the first time since the onset of the pandemic, my luck was in.
A couple of hours later my luck ran out, I rather stupidly stuck a chisel into my left hand. I don't recall which flowed faster, language or blood.
