Snowshill Manor

As part of Evesham Walking Festival we joined a group for a ‘Snowshill Saunter’. We walked about 5 miles in the fields around Snowshill Manor ( a NT place) past the lavender fields and then afterwards OH and I went into the gardens.
The owner of the manor was Charles Wade who bought it after WW1 and used it as a house to show off his collections like a museum whilst he lived in a cottage. The house was fully booked today but we’ll go back.
When he bought it the place was a farm and the gardens have been created in an Arts and Craft style cottage garden, with lots of pleasing corners and views. The sky was beautiful: this is straight out of the phone.
