Land of a 1000 bales

A long day raking the hay and gathering bales. The contractor started baling at 5 pm and finished at 10. The yield was the best ever, but being quite late with hot weather has lowered the quality significantly. We didn't get 1000 bales, but 188, which is a lot anyway. It was quite a job to gather and pile them and I had to give up and leave a half of them over night. Despite the rain on Wednesday morning, the hay seemed dry enough to leave some bales unwrapped.
