Green

I got caught in the rain when I went out for a walk after finishing work today. I realised it had been quite a while since I had been out in the rain. In pre-covid times I would still walk home from work if it was raining. But now I choose to stay inside. So there was actually something nice about being out in the rain and hearing the sound of it in the trees. I stood under this very lush green set of trees by the Water of Leith and listened. The patter of the rain in the trees above me accompanied by the sound of the Water of Leith flowing past nearby was very calming. I must remember to go out and walk in the rain more often.
