Melanargia galathea

Better known as Marbled White. In German called Schachbrett (meaning: chessboard).
Actually, I was going to publish a pink poppy I had seen yesterday. But the poppy was already not in a good shape anymore. And then we were surrounded by many Marbled White butterflies. Really many. And several had the kindness to sit and wait till I took my picture.
I have put some of my pics in extras, as I didn't really know which one to take :)
