Ragged glory

The nights are still very cold (-12C this morning) but in the afternoon the sun is melting the snow. The packed snow plowed by the wayside melts very unevenly forming miniature mountain ranges, where the tops are not pointing upwards but towards the sun at its peak in the south, and the sun's peak is still quite low so the angle is close to about 40 degrees. Unfortunately the snow mountains do not retain the original clean whiteness of the snow pile.
