Wings aflutter

I have also backblipped Thursday's Roses are .. .... hope you will have a look .... thanks to those who already have :-)

Still behind ...... this is Friday's blip!

As we had a lot to do yesterday ...... including visiting two banks ..... we didn't get out for a walk. So although there was the possibility of a shower we decided to risk it this afternoon!

Pleased we did! It stayed dry & the sun even popped out at times :-)

We saw the usual birds .... did get a few photos of them .... but thought I would blip something a bit different :-)

Top row: Common blue Damselfly, Small Tortoiseshell & Meadow Brown butterfly ...... not the best as it was behind grasses but rare to see it with open wings!

Bottom row: Broad-bodied Chaser* (male) & Ringlet butterfly (this one was also slightly obscured by grasses :-)

Do hope you like my choices :-)

Hope you all have a Tigger-tastic weekend ...... stay safe :-)

*Update: The 'Broad-bodied Chaser' is actually a male Black-tailed skimmer ..... thanks to Hilly for the identification ..... more her area of expertise & not mine!
