Shapes

We'd had four beautiful days in the Peak District but today we awoke to rain -  but not to worry, today we were due to travel home. I experimented briefly with the macro lens on the raindrops on the van window - the focus was on the point of contact between the water & the glass (& specks of dust!) so I ended up with weird shapes, some picking up the colour of the trees, some almost in monochrome, like this one.

I did think that a shot of a person in the rain might work, but no-one seemd to be stirring on the campsite at that time of the morning. A couple of intrepid cyclists set out later but I'd packed the camera away in the locker by then as we were ready to leave!
