Saturday afternoon, Glasgow.

A difficult drive to Glasgow this afternoon. Lots of surface water, heavy rain and some flooding in the city streets, with a fire engine pumping out water at one point at the end of our journey. Fortunately I know the area.
The photo is from Q Park car park looking down on Sauchiehall Street. Just after 2pm, and not busy. We met our older son at the car park; it chosen due to it’s proximity to Slanj Kilts and Highland outfitters, one street away, where we’d business to attend to. Our short walk was past offices, so not overly busy pavements. We’re really aware of the prevalence of Covid19 in the community, especially with our family wedding less than 2 weeks away. The other member of our group today arrived from Edinburgh a few minutes into our appointment; the shop met our needs today. It was a filthy drive back home, torrential rain most of the way.

We got home 2 mins before the first British and Irish Lions game from their South Africa tour. The Lions won 52-14, in Johannesburg against the Sigma Lions.
