baby horoeka

Another good day in the garden and working on the house. Painted the garage doors and a window sill and planted some lancewoods (horoeka) and Stephens Island Pittospoum. Need to stop buying plants for the back yard and sit back and watch them grow now.

One day this little fella will look like this. Well, maybe not so orange. Got ten to twenty years to wait for that though - kind of funny to care for things that you might never see mature (not feeling that mortal - it's just that we plan to move within 4 years...).

PS I fell off the blipwagon a little in the last few days (but kept taking photos). Got really stuck trying to edit while tired and just gave up for a while. Anyway, I'm back :]
