Hooker Lake

On a day that started out at -5°C, we were lucky enough to walk the Hooker Valley Track in Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park. The day turned into a real sparkler, still cold but only the occasional puff of wind and full of sunshine.

The ice bergs have broken off the glacier and been blown down the lake.  Aoraki/Mt Cook stands tall overlooking the scene.

On the way we passed through a hoar frost, see extras.
