The euphoria of England's 4 nil win yesterday evening stays in the ether as a wonderful sense of joyful thankfulness to a God who enabled such wonderful rejoicing and gifted talents. I am not the best supporter of competitive sports, and I sat watching tentatively, praying for our team and crocheting Elliot's baby blanket. Imagine how Ukraine might feel this morning bless them.Thunder was rumbling overhead in Rishton and in Leeds, where Maria and her friends were watching the match too. We were messaging happy exchanges each time a goal was scored.
Paul saw a dramatic glow of lightning over the Accrington horizon.
It was a memorable evening.
These beautiful boats were on our stretch of the canal yesterday afternoon, and a delight to see beside the Canal café.
It is such changeable weather and my camera is on the blink, so I take photos when it is not raining.
