What happens when the Gold Coast Marathon Festival @gcmarathon gets cancelled due to an outbreak of Covid-19 and you've been training for months ???

You tell your running buddies the Chermy Crew from the @intrainingrunningclub that you are still going to run your first ever marathon... Craig (Nicole's husband) set a course on a much loved running section between Brighton and Sandgate on Brisbane's Northside... Then you invite your running buddies to come join in...Special mention to Rodney for running the marathon in full with Nicole and for David joining in and running the last 33km...

Nicole's name on her running bib with her number reads - myfirstmarathon...

Nicole - you are now a marathoner...

Amazing support not just from intraining but all the other runners from various club out running virtual distances too...

This all happened 12 hours after getting out of lockdown... Covid-19 restrictions applied...
