Meadow Brown

A day of sunshine and torrential showers.  Our lavender has been looking purple for a couple of weeks, but it was only yesterday that the first bee turned up and decided the nectar was ready.  Today there are dozens of bees, but so far just one little Meadow Brown butterfly.
