Poor design combined with heavy handed usage, means the thin shafts of these combined switches and 'pots' (potentiometers, or variable resistors) regularly break. There are ten of them along the length of the circuit board, and instead of replacing the broken one(s) again, I'm going to modify them all in the hope that this problem ceases. Have previously modified two other units, and I think there may be another two after this unit's done.
