OFA day 2, Hertfordshire

Southerners of my acquaintance will know I tease them a lot about their lack of mountains and drama, but this little corner of the downs really was rather beautiful in a quaintly English way.

Good students always make for a good course. Covid has meant we've spent even more time outdoors than usual (yeay) but despite the vibrancy of this blip today was most definitely a full waterproofs all day kind of day. There was even some 'experiential learning' in the survival shelters for a while.
A previous graduate, Fairweathergirl of this parish, is demonstrating some excellent casualty care here.... I'm pleased to report M didn't die.... unlike some other groups (mock) casualties.... Lots of laughs and moments of understanding.

Then a v-e-r-y long wet drive home
