Holding Paw

Rani has grown quite a lot bigger than her sister, but she is the more careful and shy of the two. When the door to the garden is open, Chaiyya and Munni (the cat) love to be outside and explore, while Rani mostly stays inside the door, looking out.

She craves human company, and likes to sit next to me on the sofa. Today, when I reached out to stroke her, she put her head on my hand and her paw on my wrist, as if to say "don't take my nice warm pillow away".

Thankfully, my mobile was just within reach. So I could take this photo without moving my left hand.
