6 Spot Burnett Moths

Another trip to North Walney NR today to explore some more of the reserve.  There were vast numbers of Dark Green Fritillaries flying about and nectaring on the tall thistles however,  as I have blipped them twice recently, I decided today to go for this pair of 6 Spot Burnett Moths.

The first extra is a male Stonechat who objected to me walking through his territory.  The second extra is someone land yachting.  The third is one of very many Pyramidal Orchids that were blooming with a very vivid colour in the sand dunes,
