Blood Red

Catching sight of this scene in the early morning sunshine made me catch my breath and realise just why I love photography. With the sun behind them the poppies were alive...aflame. Displayed on the railing around the Keighley War Memorial, their blood red colour in the scene seemed poignantly appropriate.
