Walking in the steps of...

...loads of people!

We took our lovely house guests up British Camp today in a brief gap between showers, before a week earned kaffee unt küchen at the Kettle Sings. It was very windy on the top, and we got a great view of the imminent rains.

It's a little strange to think about all the people who have walked up there before us, from Iron Age hill fort dwellers to Edward Elgar to us!
