Eggs of Salmon

Wet here all day, ideal for the slime moulds. The old fence post keeps on giving -a mass of fresh Trichia decipiens, sometimes called Eggs of Salmon, slime mould has appeared. I think that the 'chocolate' version I blipped at the weekend is the mature form of this one. These are truly tiny, 2mm high and 0.5mm wide, definitely at the limit of my ability.
