Three northern lapwing kids wondered in the yard but we did not see their mummy. Perhaps she was in the bushes into which the biggest kid ran. We saw yesterday an adult northern lapwing making dives towards a hawk flying above so we wondered whether the hawk caused some injuries to the mummy. In any case, the kids looked so very cute with their soft "furs".
