Down At The Doctors

Had to go to a specialist today .When I tell you I was the only woman and all others were men you may guess. One man asked if we could sit together in the waiting room and another asked me did I want a glass of water .Never had such a fascinating & out of the ordinary Dr 's visit .  Another lady came in later but was very dour . All the Dr's in Germany are connected by a great IT system which enables them to send and bring back info .I just go with my health card .A thorough  check up and tests, plus  cultures .Results tomorrow.....That's how German Health Service works .Like the furnishings , minimal fuss, maximum speed.
