Rambling Clematis

It seems to be a good year for Clematis. This one, Belle Evoque, is climbing up the back wall of the house, and probably has more flowers open than I have seen for years. After early rain there was the bonus of prolonged sunshine during the middle of the day. Entirely unexpected!
